Skin Graft
A skin graft is an outpatient procedure in which a qualified plastic surgeon removes a healthy patch of skin from one part of a patient’s body and transplants it to another area of the body – an area in need of healthy skin due to burns, wounds, infections or for other reconstructive purposes.

Z-plasty Scar Repair
Z-plasty is a surgical technique that is used to improve the cosmetic appearance of scars by redirecting those scars into a better alignment with natural lines and skin folds. During the procedure, the cosmetic surgeon will create two triangular flaps of equal size and then transpose them -- this re-orients the direction of the wound.

Obagi Peel
Obagi Peels are used to give patients firmer, smoother and clearer looking skin. The peel uses trichloracetic acid to remove the outer-most layer of the skin. When the new skin cells grow back they have more collagen, faster turnover and a more even skin tone and youthful appearance.

Skin Peel
Skin peeling is a non-surgical skin care technique that involves applying a chemical solution to areas of the face that are unevenly pigmented, sun damaged, or wrinkled. The chemical will peel away the skin’s top layers, and when healed the skin will be firmer, have a more even pigmentation and be more vibrant.

Facial Sanding
Also known as dermabrasion, facial sanding is a technique used to treat scars, wrinkles and uneven pigmentation. Using a high-speed, rotating brush, the top layer of skin is essentially “sanded off” to reveal the more youthful skin below.

Umbilical Deformity Repair
Umbilical deformity repair is usually done on skin care patients who have a deformed or protruding belly-button. It can be done as an outpatient procedure and requires an incision around the belly-button that may need to extend slightly into the abdominal skin and tissue near the belly-button.

Tissue Expanders
Tissue expanders are balloon type devices that are placed under the skin anytime additional skin is needed to either close a defect or wound or to expand the skin in preparation for a reconstructive surgery, i.e. the breast skin following a mastectomy.
